Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 15 January 2026

1. Who we are

Addressless (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an early-stage service currently operated by an individual (not yet a limited company).

During this testing phase, services are provided on a best-efforts basis while we validate demand and usability.

By using the service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

2. What the service does

Addressless enables you to send a physical card or gift to a recipient without you needing to know their postal address.

How it works:

  • You pay for a send

  • The recipient receives an invitation to accept or decline

  • If accepted, the recipient provides a delivery address

  • We arrange fulfilment via third-party providers (e.g. card printers, retailers, couriers)

3. Payments

  • All payments are processed securely via Stripe.

  • Prices shown include the item cost plus any stated service, handling, or delivery fees.

  • Payment is taken upfront when you initiate a send.

Stripe processing fees are incurred at the point of payment and are non-refundable.

4. Acceptance, declines, and credits

If the recipient accepts

  • The gift or card will be fulfilled using the details they provide.

  • Once fulfilment begins, the order cannot be cancelled.

If the recipient declines or does not respond

  • You will not receive a cash refund.

  • Instead, the amount paid (excluding non-refundable processing fees or costs already incurred) will be credited to your Addressless wallet.

  • Wallet credit can be used for future sends and does not expire during the testing phase.

This approach allows us to keep fees low and operate fairly during early testing.

5. Refund policy

Addressless does not offer full cash refunds except where legally required.

Where a refund is applicable:

  • Payment processing fees are non-refundable

  • Handling or service fees are non-refundable

  • Any costs already incurred (e.g. printing, postage, fulfilment) will be deducted

In most cases, we will issue wallet credit instead of a cash refund.

6. Fulfilment & third parties

We use third-party providers to fulfil cards and gifts. This means:

  • Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees

  • Availability of specific items may change

  • Packaging and presentation may vary slightly from images shown

We are not responsible for delays, errors, or failures caused by third-party fulfilment partners, though we will always try to resolve issues reasonably.

7. Address & privacy handling

  • Senders never see recipients’ postal addresses.

  • Addresses are collected solely for fulfilment purposes.

  • Address data is shared only with the relevant fulfilment partner.

  • We do not sell or reuse address data.

This is a core feature of the service.

8. Service availability

Because this is an early-stage product:

  • Features may change

  • The service may be paused or modified

  • We may manually process some orders

We reserve the right to suspend or refuse service where misuse, fraud, or abuse is suspected.

9. Fraud & misuse

We may:

  • Limit transaction amounts

  • Block or cancel suspicious activity

  • Refuse service without notice where necessary to protect users or ourselves

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant send

  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or emotional distress arising from use of the service

  • We do not guarantee recipient acceptance or satisfaction

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the latest version.

12. Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
